Since Apple made the touch screen technology popular for mobile phones with its latest gadget Iphone, the other companies with a mix of anger and jelousy decided to give the payback.

Now its the time for the Swedish company Neonode to play its role.

The company announced yesterday that their latest mobile phone Neonode N2 will arrive in US in 2008 (a specific date still to be confirmed). Neonode N2 has the exclusive neno user interface and zForce optical touch screen, offering users a amazing and easy to navigate experience.

zForce touch screen doesn’t require any hard pressure or style, and works smoothly and accurately by reacting to sweeping and tapping signals on the screen.

"Our main focus is the user experience, which is the true key behind Neonode N2. It ranges from how you are able to use it, which we have enabled through zForce the optical screen, down to the easiness your applications and content can be accessed, which we solved through the combination of zForce and neon, the user interface," said Mikael Hagman, President and CEO of Neonode.

The Neonode N2 was launched in Europe already, and received really good reviews, it is going to be a good competition for Apple and its Iphone.
