Windows Mobile 7 focus on Touch and gesture movements

Microsoft is not dead, a tleast following some rumours. Some features just leaked from the InsideMicrosoft blog, as some screen shots and is clear that this new OS has a touch of Vista interface which is an eye candy.
However it doens’t stop there; there is the inovation of gesture control. For exemple if you shake the divice while listening MP3, shuffle mode could be activated, or you could change to the next photo and so on. And of couse everything else we knows that apple came with, pinches, flikes, swipes, slides may be integrated ooo and the unforgettable multi-touche.
One difference between the Iphone and this technology is that while the first uses accelerometers and gyroscopes, Microsoft figured out to do the same using the camera( yep the same camera you use to take pictures), to determine the motion. It makes me think, so how about battery life? Will it become a problem?….
It comes with Internet Explorer full, I mean… and browser with all capabilities, and i hope get Adobe FLASH plugin at this one, anyway. *Mozilla fundation please do something about it…*. As usual the Office package is included, Docs, PowerPoint, Excel.
Well it’s said that we need to wait at least until 2009, which for me I think will be at the 1Q or later 2Q otherwise with Android well developed and Iphone arround could be too late for Microsoft to compete and conquer some market share, by the way, Is BlackBerry bringing something new to the table to fight Microsoft?
