With the lack of competitors for the $10 million prize offered by Google for the Android code, it looks like the WiFi Army created by W2Pi its going to take a slice of that money. Using a blend of GPS, Google Maps and Camera likely to be included in most of the gPhones, the players can register online with a photo and rivals attempt to locate them using GPS fed and Google Map.

The points are register by "shooting" others with the camera and the image is compared with the server to confirm identity.

Apparentely they are still on beta test so the sign up is limited to just 500 per city. The software its waiting to be released and the programmers are working on adding more gadgets such as Voip between player for easy communication and player status, in case you are having a quality time with your family or girlfriend and don’t want to be a victim of a granade.

Well lets look forward for this application, and let the battle begins.
