A developer company named Razix, tired of the lack of support for Palm Treo in Google Maps MyLocation, decided to build its own application based on Google Maps. MyLocation does exactly the same tower triangulation that most others GPS and platforms do and without the long waiting for Palm decide to give it a shot.
Like Google the application is free with a little problem, there are some ads along, however the advertisements can be removed with any donation of $10 or more.
For the future they plan to expand the compatibility with another phones, also it will be included a location based alerts and provide opt-in tracking services. Like, you can let your girlfriend know where you are in case she doesn’t trust you (Please don’t tell my girlfriend about this application).
