Everybody knows it’s a huge success the social networks thing. As you can see big .COM companies creating social networks for every end, music, friends, job network, videos, books, news, and so on. But what’s missing?? A REAL network, right? Well that’s where Android might come with location system or the API from the service called My Location.
Google is trying to bring the Social network cross-ambient bringing from virtual, to the real world. A social network on to go, that shows you where your friend are, so in your lunch time just look for that friend you want to see and sending a simple text, you can book a place in the restaurant nearby to have a lunch together for e.g.
Moreover, it could possible emerge a social network that shows Geo tag review from other users (friends) for e.g. pubs, or a night clubs. Or even more, you could see which friends are on that pub next to you, and what kind of reviews that place have from your friends, or friends of your friends, just as a virtual social network.
However, it might bring many privacy problems either, e.g. I’m not sure I want people know where I’m all the time, or just because my mate is just at the next block we are going to have a “coffee” in the nearly Coffee shop ad that popped up on my scream. For sure the privacy will be a big issue that needs to be worked on.
