Truth Or Urban Legend?

A man in Ghana was killed by a cell phone explosion when he answered a call while the mobile was being charged, the cell phone was a Nokia, the model wasn´t identified, and these two facts don´t matter that much, but there are a few problems that i can clearly see and list:
1 - It´s a really bad idea to answer a cell phone being charged, if a cell phone can give you a brain tumor by itself due to microwave emissions, imagine what it could do connected to an outlet;
2 - Original accessories are quite expensive, at least where i live, they cost a liver and a lung, so I strongly believe that the exploding(fake) battery had reasons to do so;
3 - A had a Nokia once, a long time ago, it started to heat up really fast inside my pocket for no reason, so I decided to give the damn thing extended vacations away from my privates and got myself a brand new one, not a Nokia(not that I have any issues with Nokia mobiles).
What did we learn from all of this?
1 - Quit being a cheap-o and save some money for original accessories, this might save your life;
2 - Try to follow at least a FEW of the instructions from the user´s guide, especially the ones about safety;
3 - Do a lot, and i mean a lot of research over the internet before you buy your new mobile, it might me shiny and beautiful at the shop, but the specs and opinions of buyers might differ from yours.
Be safe!
