This is particularly challenging as the 2H2 O2 -> 2H20 reaction is highly exothermic, so a large quantity of heat is generated within the fuel cell. I'm not saying that it will completely explode that was more for my personal joke amusement, however due the mobile phones generate a certain amount of heating it might damage the fuel cell...no wonder they can't supply this kind of idea until 2010 as they are still studying a way to do it so with a low cost.
