Google Android is touch screen ready (video)

Hey people, today was the second day of the GSM Mobile Congress, and to be honest, I saw a video from Phonemag which they are using the Google Android OS with a touch screen interface over the phone E28, and are far better than the damn boring movie from Gizmodo posted yesterday. Anyway, the interface looks ok. It’s not a great interface yet, but I’m sure this is just a "theme" for now and later on will be changed and i hope it get this interface.

However Samsung are trying to innovate with something quite different.

ARM to show Android Handset

Now looks to be true, all over the blogosphere are saying we are about to see an Android handset for the next week in the GSM Mobile Congress. Routers published that the chip designer ARM are expected to bring the first ever device. However ARM and Google refused to comment about the subject. HTC will also bring two or three handsets at this year running Android. Telefonica and NTT DoCoMo are working with mobile phones manufactures to develop phone with the Google Android OS.

Android’s workshop brings more questions?

As you know Google was promoting an Android Code Day which was besides promote the new OS would also clarify some questions and show how to code on the platform. Instead it looks like coders seem to have come away with more questions than answers about android os, this includes better understanding of Android’s structure and what Google lacks to support. Also doubts about low cost-cellphones using android os were raised in the workshop.

RegDeveloper’s Lance Davis attended a London workshop and has given a comprehensive run-down behind android os and what it seems to be the strengths and weaknesses and also what expects for the next months.
