Everybody knows it’s a huge success the social networks thing. As you can see big .COM companies creating social networks for every end, music, friends, job network, videos, books, news, and so on. But what’s missing?? A REAL network, right? Well that’s where Android might come with location system or the API from the service called My Location.

    Could Android gives a hard time for GPS Companies?

    Is it possible Google kills the GPS industry with Android devices?

    Let me talk about Google Maps for a while. Google brought the Maps system for the web which is basically running over your browser allowing you to watch the World map and the major cities you that can see in 5 views;

    1. Transport Map –Which includes all the roads, avenues, parks, Tube stations, and important places.
    2. Satellite –It’s the satellite photo map which can become really close from the ground.
    3. Hybrid Map -Basically it’s the mix between then, where you can see the satellite pictures with all the labels, street names, etc.
    4. Traffic Map -Real time traffic condition

    The open source community called Vafeo, once more surprises bringing now not only a full Operational System but one Linux Distro (Vd_android), with Android SDK built in. In many cases people get bother to mess with the OS hardDrive in this case, don’t. Because you’re completely able to run it from your CD, not requiring installation.
