Has been a long time since the MWC and the news about Android phone that came along with the event. and After a while without any news, here comes one that is completely amazing.  Darren Water from BBC went on a meeting with Google’s Android developer Andy Rubin; and despite demonstrating a alpha version of the software the mobile phone Rubin brought showed how Google will be a pain in the ass for Symbian and Windows Mobile.

No more XMPP support now only Gtalk

In the first SDK, Google gave the support to XMPP as a protocol to make connections between two or more users at the same time, it means, a platform for VOIP, TXT, and many other things. However Google never intended to use support  XMPP.

Now with this new SDK released earlier on, the platform was changed for Gtalk, which for some developers is a pain, because they’ve already had some part of the project done and now it’s needed to be reviewed. On the other hand it’s good because we know that Google will provide all the support needed for this protocol.

Today 24/01/2008 the bidding starts, FCC is putting on "sale" the 700mhz spectrum!!

Many big companies are bidding like AT&T Inc, Alltel Corp, Cox Communication Inc, Leap Wireless International Inc, Metro PCS Inc, Google, Sprint, Verizon al together being in a total of 96 companies. Google promest if winning the network will be opened for many application and devices, which AT&T and Verizon just now changed their position and agree to do the same.
