AMD to fight back Intel launchs new Mobile processor

AMD is back, or at least trying. The micro processor company announced at World Mobile Congress 2008 their new processors and mobile graphics technology which leaves Intel in a bad position.

Their new Imageon A250 will deal with video recording/playback and photos images as also many other applications including being programed for high level graphics.

Google Android is touch screen ready (video)

Hey people, today was the second day of the GSM Mobile Congress, and to be honest, I saw a video from Phonemag which they are using the Google Android OS with a touch screen interface over the phone E28, and are far better than the damn boring movie from Gizmodo posted yesterday. Anyway, the interface looks ok. It’s not a great interface yet, but I’m sure this is just a "theme" for now and later on will be changed and i hope it get this interface.

Dell to show Android OS phone at MWC?

I know I know, you will probably say I read that before. Despite the rumor about Dell releasing a mobile phone powered by Android OS had been hammered I received these news today on my e-mail about a "tip" on Dell’s Axim. It looks like someone from inside released some great information about the handset. However I have to say this is still a rumor and not confirmed facts.

Nokia says NO WAY JOSE for Windows Mobile

If you thought Nokia would follow the Sony Ericsson’s steps by getting the Windows Mobile in their handsets, I’m sorry but I will have to say that you were wrong. The mobile company announced they will not get into the Windows Mobile at least for now. But good expectations come from Nokia relating the S60 series yet to be reveled on the World Mobile Congress starting this Monday.

Would they still think about going to the OHA side? Well maybe after Google revel more about Android OS.

XPERIA is a serie coming from Sony Ericsson focused in multimedia and browser capabilities. It comes with a 3.2mp camera, a Full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, all running under the Windows Mobile 6. This big screen (3") is a key point in this device as well, with high resolution of 800×480 it can offer you crispy photos, or videos with DVD quality and it’s touch screen also. Windows Mobile means that you can install any application developed for this platform without jailbreak it, which you can easily find a plenty out there. Quad band… it means that it can be played basically worldwide.
